Rev. G. Terry Brewer District Superintendent After graduating from Northeast Christian College (then known as UPBI) in 1985, Bro. Brewer spent 9 months in the country of Pakistan serving as a Bible College instructor. Upon his return to New Brunswick he served for two years as an assistant at Hatfield Point’s “Outreach Pentecostal Church” before assuming the pastorate of the “Zealand United Pentecostal Church” in August of 1988. In September of 1988 he married Beth (Boyd). The Brewers served the congregation in Zealand until 1994, at which time they assumed pastoral duties for the “Temperance Vale United Pentecostal Church”, where they continue to labour for the Lord. Bro. Brewer served as District Youth President from 1992 to 1996. He served as presbyter for Section #2 from 1995 to 2001, when he was chosen to serve as District Secretary – Treasurer. The Brewers have 4 wonderful children who contribute to keeping their parent’s lives full in so many regards…. full of love, full of happiness, and sometimes…. full of blissful chaos.

Rev. Stephen Tompkins District Secretary A graduate of United Pentecostal Bible Institute in 1985. Following Bible School he assisted in the churches in Chatham and Centreville for three years. In 1987 he was married to Deborah Locke and lived in Lakeville, NB for two years. In 1988, we took our first Church in Four Falls and moved there in 1989 and pastored there for 51/2 years while continuing to work full time at Day & Ross Inc. In 1994, we moved to Ripples and entered full time into the ministry and are presently into our 12th year here. We have served in the District as Sunday School Secretary and Bible College instructor and presently as a Bible School Board Member, Finance Committee Chairman and have been on the District Board for the past 5 years.

Rev. Craig Sully Section One Rev. Craig Sully was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Outreach Pentecostal Church, Hatfield Point, NB in the Spring of 1984 while completing his final year at New Brunswick Community College in Saint John. That fall he enrolled in Northeast Christian College (former UPBI). After graduation in 1987 Rev. Sully traveled to Nigeria, West Africa to serve as an AIM missionary. The following year he met Lyna Paramore, of Dothan, AL who had also traveled to Nigeria on the AIM missionary program. After their marriage in 1989 they returned to Nigeria for two more years. In 1991 they were appointed as career missionaries to Nigeria and later served in Burkina Faso. Rev. Sully, his wife and two children, Jeff & Jessica, left missionary work in 2004 to become pastor of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Woodstock, NB. In addition to his responsibilities as full time pastor and Presbyter of Section 1, he teaches at Northeast Christian College and is Coordinator for French Evangelism for North America, a branch of Multi-Cultural Ministries under Home Missions Division.

Rev. Don McCarty Section Two Donald Reed McCarty was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on September 2, 1956 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at Harvey Lake Camp meeting July 26, 1958. In 1970 D.R. was granted a General Ministerial License and graduated from the United Pentecostal Bible Institute, now Northeast Christian College the same year. Betty Ellen Burton from Stewiacke, Nova Scotia became his beloved wife on October 3, 1970. On April 5, 1973 Donald R. was Ordained to the Ministry. He and his wife have pastored in New Glasgow and Stewiacke, Nova Scotia; Campobello Island, Upper Blackville, Blackville, Blacks Harbour and are presently the pastor in Zealand, New Brunswick. For 8 years, D.R. was the Dean of the United Pentecostal Bible Institute, which now is Northeast Christian College. He has also been an adjunct teacher for many of years. D.R. has served the Atlantic District UPCI as Sunday School Secretary for 6 years, Director of Sunday School for 12 years and Home Missions Director for 8 years. He is presently serving on the District Board of Presbyters. The McCarty's have been blessed with two wonderful children, Stephanie and Daniel. Stephanie and husband Allan Palmer on September 26,2007gave DR & Betty a beautiful granddaughter Linda Elizabeth. They live in Quispamsis, and attend 1st UPC Saint John. Daniel, his wife Charish and terrific grandson, Kasen Gaige born on April 11, 2005 live in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and attend Doniphan, West Point UPC!

Rev. Jonathan McNair Section Three Rev. Jonathan McNair was born on April 10, 1962 and is the second son of Rev & Mrs. Harvey McNair. He pastored in Stellarton, Nova Scotia from 1988 till 2000. He was ordained in May of 1993 by Rev. Nathaniel Urshan. While pastoring in Nova Scotia he served the Nova Scotia District on the Youth Committee, as Prayer Coordinator, as Foreign Missions Director and as District Board Member. In September of 2000 the McNair's moved to Blackville, New Brunswick where they continue to pastor. Since coming to New Brunswick to pastor he has served as District Prayer Coordinator, has taught at Northeast Christian College for four years and was elected as District Board member for Section 3 of the Atlantic District in May 2009. He is happily married to Denise, who serves on the District Ladies Committee. The McNair's have two married sons, Andrew [Alisa] and Matthew [Naomi] and one son still at home, Nathaniel. The McNair's are also the proud grandparents of Nolan and Parker.

Rev. Terry Kennedy Section Four Rev. Terry L. Kennedy has been senior pastor at Mission Point since 2006. He married Sally (Ronco) of Dexter, Maine in 1989 after meeting in Fredericton NB where he was studying for the ministry at Northeast Christian College (NCC) and from where he graduated with high honours in 1990. They have four sons; Jordan, Zachary, Seth and Benjamin. He has served the United Pentecostal Church in a variety of capacities including youth ministry in New Brunswick and Quebec, and fifteen years with the Atlantic District Youth Department, including a 3-year term as its president. He has instructed a number of courses at NCC and prior to coming to Saint John, he spent twelve years, as youth pastor (1993-1998) and senior pastor (1998-2005), at the Voice of Pentecost church in McAdam, NB. He is presently serving the Atlantic District United Pentecostal Church as presbyter of Section 4.

Rev. Fred Wickett Section Five Graduate of United Pentecostal Bible Institute (NCC), Fredericton, N.B., Rev. Wickett has pastored churches in Bridgewater, NS, Brookville, NB, Chatham, NB. and assisted in Jonesport, Maine. Presently he is pastoring in Hatfield Point, NB since January 1994. He served 9 years as the Atlantic District Sunday School Director, and for 5 years served as an instructor at North East Christian College, Fredericton, NB. He is presently serving the Atlantic District United Pentecostal Church as presbyter of Section 5.

Rev. Brent Carter Section Six Rev. Brent Carter was born in Kouchibouguac in June 1970, into a great Christian home with Godly parents. Received the Holy Ghost, March 22 1976 during a Saturday night prayer meeting in Bartibogue NB. Was baptized in the Kouchibouguac River on October 22, 1978. This was seventeen years later to the day in the very same spot that my father, Edward Carter was baptized. Twenty-one years to the day after I was baptized, our son Mikko was baptized in the same spot. After graduating from Bonar Law Memorial High School in June of 1988, I enrolled at UPBI in Marysville NB and completed one year of Bible School. My wife Daphne completed all three years of UPBI. In June of 1989 was married to my beautiful wife Daphne Storey and since, there has been added to our lives three wonderful children, Mikko, Miranda and Marissa. We became involved in ministry in Kouchibouguac in June 1989 under the guidance of Rev. Lester Mitchell and this continued until September 12, 1994 when we followed the call to Bathurst NB. The Lord blessed us with the priveledge of working with Rev. Henry Poitras as an assistant over the next eight years. On September 12, of 2002 we took our first pastorate in Miramichi City where we still reside. We were ordained in May 2003 in Summerside PEI. God has blessed our family with a wonderful church along with three daughter works which are under our leadership. These three works are in Burnt Church/Neguac, Big Cove and Baie Ste Anne. During the past eighteen years of ministry we have been blessed to be part of the Youth Committee for seven years, Sunday School secretary for the Atlantic District for one and a half years followed by Sunday School Director for five years. During this time we were the Northeast Regional Sunday School Director for UPCI for a period of two years. Bible Quizzing has been an extensive burden of our family since 1992. We have been the Senior Bible Quizzing Coordinator for the Atlantic District since 1996 and was the Junior Bible Quizzing Coordinator from 2002 through 2007. During this time we coached the North American Champions of 2002 in Junior Quizzing which consisted of Mikko Carter, Miranda Carter and Joshua Lyons. In 2006 we coached the North American Intermediate Senior champions which consisted of Mikko Carter and Miranda Carter. I thank the Lord for the honor of teaching at NCC (former UPBI) for the past two years and now the challenge of becoming the NCC Administrative Director. God has placed great Pastors in my life that have given guidance and direction such as Rev. Mike Trail, Rev. Lester Mitchell and Rev. Henry Poitras. Presently I am serving the Atlantic District as Presbyter of section six.

Rev. Robert Foster Honorary Board Member Bro. Foster was born on June 26, 1933, in East Florenceville, N.B. and raised in Carleton County. He graduated from Emmanuel Bible Institute in 1952. On Oct. 27,1952 he was married to Barbara May Hatt from Back Bay, Charlotte Co., New Brunswick. They moved to Juniper, N.B., and while there they helped the late Bro. David Cummings at the church, as Youth Leader. During this time Bro. Foster was also youth leader for the Carleton County section. In July 1961 he became Pastor of Harvey Station U.P.C. and was Ordained on April 10, 1963. They were in Harvey until December 28, 1965 at which time they resigned as Pastor of the Church and moved to Geary, N.B., where we became Pastor of the Geary U.P.C. They served there until June 30,1984. In the fall of 1984 he became Principal of United Pentecostal Bible Institute in Marysville. In August 1991 he became the Pastor of Voice Of Pentecost Church in McAdam N.B. until his retirement in 1998. During these years he served in various areas of the work of God: Youth President, Foreign Missions Board, District Board, District Secretary, Bible College Board and also in 1987-88 Bro. Foster served as General Executive Presbyter for Canada. At the present time he is an Honorary Board member of the Atlantic District and continuing to minister on weekends in several of our churches, as needed.

Rev. Garth Hatheway Honorary Board Member A retired high school principal and superintendent of schools, presently pastor of Upper Kent United Pentecostal church. He has a B.A., B.Ed., and M.Ed. from the University of New Brunswick. He is presently secretary for the UPCI Sunday School Curriculum Committee, Vice chairman of Urshan Graduate School (UGST), Presiding Officer for Judicial Procedure (Northeast). He is an honorary presbyter of the Atlantic District Board. Also, president for Canadian Association of School Administrators (CASA).

Rev. Euliss McKeen Honorary Board Member Reverend Euliss McKeen was born and raised in New Brunswick and credits Brother Earl Jacques and Brother Harvey McNair with having left an indelible imprint on his life and ministry. Feeling the call to the ministry, Brother McKeen, enrolled at United Pentecostal Bible Institute (now known as Northeast Christian College) in Fredericton, New Brunswick and graduated in 1959. In the fall of the same year, Brother McKeen accepted his first pastorate in Durham Bridge, New Brunswick. And in 1963, he became an ordained minister in the Atlantic District of the United Pentecostal Church International. Bro. McKeen was married in September 1962 to Doreen Johnson, who has faithfully served by his side in various ministry capacities. They are blessed with three daughters and 4 grandchildren. The McKeen’s currently reside in St. Stephen where they have built a beautiful retirement home. They have pastored for forty-six years in nine churches which included cities and towns in the Northeastern United States, Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. In addition to his calling as a pastor, Brother McKeen has willingly accepted and ably performed many district responsibilities, having been a member of the Atlantic District Board for twenty-seven years. Brother and Sister McKeen are still actively involved in ministry and continue to serve on the Atlantic District Board.
